The following facilities are available at the unit:
A Resource Center which
can house up to 60 people for meetings, workshops or presentations;
A Resource Collection
of various books, magazines, posters and journals;
The Cape Flats Nature
Reserve, which is 30 ha in size, consisting of Coastal Fynbos and Strandveld. This setting
is currently being used for walks, fieldwork, recreation and conservation;
And a nursery used for
indigenous plant propagation, workshops and planting programmes for schools.

establishment of indigenous gardens in schools and communities.
Sale of indigenous
plants.
Succulents on loan for
illustrative purposes.

environmental issues.
